Here is what is happening in the Bourque for Congress 2000 campaign.
Dion participated in a forum with other candidates challenging Billy Tauzin on October 9th at WDSU-TV in New Orleans. Dion spoke about freedom and liberty and why it is important to elect citizen-politicians who will work to return power of choice and freedom to the individual instead of career polititians who are more concerned about their political careers than serving the public well.

Dion taped a campaign and information piece with WDSU-TV on October 17th in New Iberia as a means to bring Libertarian views and principles to others. The interview took place in the New Iberia Park and Dion spoke with potential voters. The interview went well and Dion stressed the need for the elimination of the income tax and the need to eliminate unneccessary and inefficient government programs.
